Ingredients
- 500g Pork ribs (cut into sections)
- 500g Lotus root (peeled and cut into thick slices)
- 100g Raw peanuts (soaked for at least 1 hour)
- 10 pieces Dried red dates (pitted)
- 1 piece Dried tangerine peel (soaked and scraped pith)
- 2.5 L Water
- 5g Salt (to taste)
Steps
- Blanch pork ribs in boiling water, then rinse and drain.
- Soak dried tangerine peel until soft, then scrape off the white pith.
- Place all ingredients (except salt) in a large pot.
- Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer.
