Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons (15g) Vietnamese ground coffee (dark roast)
- 2-3 tablespoons (30-45g) sweetened condensed milk
- 150ml hot water (90-95°C)
- 1 cup ice cubes
Steps
- Place the Vietnamese coffee filter (phin) over a heatproof glass. Add Vietnamese ground coffee to the filter. Lightly press down the tamper.
- Pour about 20ml of hot water over the coffee grounds to allow it to bloom. Let it sit for 20-30 seconds.
- Fill the phin with the remaining hot water (approx. 130ml). Place the lid and let the coffee drip slowly into the glass. This process typically takes 5-7 minutes.
- While the coffee is dripping, pour sweetened condensed milk into a serving glass.
- Once all the coffee has dripped, remove the phin. Pour the brewed hot coffee into the serving glass with the condensed milk. Stir well to combine.
- Add ice cubes to the glass and stir again. Serve immediately and enjoy your Cà Phê Sữa Đá!
